Contracts for portions of a day are the same price as a full day. A regular day ends by 2:15p, with 3 presentations per day. Same students should be served each visit. More can be added, but the core must remain. Teachers are required to reinforce techniques shown between HBE visits. Training is geared for teachers and 'under-taught'/ labeled students who are struggling with Math and developing memory channels to help them bridge gaps that widened each year as evidenced on state test results.
*Contracting 10-15 days in a school year at schools with below 40% passing in Math will move to 80%+ in first year of using Harriett's techniques. The same groups of students must be served during each HBE training. Teachers must use the techniques demonstrated on daily until 90% of their students SHOW mastery.
To accomplish this, classrooms are to be monitored once every week by a designated person who must attend each HBE training. The designee is to document students' use of skills taught by HBE at prior presentations. If the students are not able to properly respond or the teacher refuses to use the training, the designee is to ask permission to refresh the students and/or encourage the teacher to use the techniques. Every 9 weeks, 'benchmark' tests are to be given to monitor student mastery and the results used to group up to 4 kids with like needs to be tutored by a volunteer who has attended HBE workshops and are willing to give 45 min. once a week.
THE RESULTS are PHENOMENAL ALL OF US WILL LEARN --Harriett J. Ball
Your students and parents will sing praises to your concerted effort making a REAL difference.
